Monday December 28^th

I spent a horrible night, even if I went to bed at 10pm, I couldn't fall asleep before 2am and then I woke up every hour. At 7.25, I finally had to wake up because we have the basketball practices back! During the vacation, youpi...Mindy mom drove me to school, but we left pretty late, so I was late to practice. I also didn't have time to eat a real breakfast before. This and the fact that my body wasn't use to play sport anymore, made that it wasn't an amazing practice. Around the end, I felt bad, my head and stomach hurt, and as we ran a lot, I was tired. My face was purple! I scared everyone, they all thought I was gonna pass out!

Anyway, back home, I could feel my entire body! All my muscles hurt!

But I guess it is good to do sport again!

I had to watch kids in the afternoon because everyone went to the dentist.

Saturday December 27^th

I woke up, and as Tereza was still sleeping, I had to wait 3 hours for her to wake up...During this time, I stayed on the coach and I watched more Vampire Diaries...the new show to be addicted to!

Then Ethan came to Maddy's house and us four we left to Fort Wayne to see a high school basketball game. The two schools were in Fort Wayne and it was a pretty interesting game... I saw all the mistakes they made and I think it can help me for when I play because I do the same and I see how I can correct it. Then as we were all hungry, we tried to find a place to eat. I proposed Five Guys. It is definitively the best “fastfood” in the world! Even if it is pretty expensive (normal for swiss prices). We went back to Maddy's house, and then Ethan drove me home.

Friday December 26^th

I slept until 11.15 this morning! I chilled until 3pm, and then I left to Tereza's house. There, not long after, her hostfamily had their christmas party.

There weren't too many people, we were around 10. Even if I had never met all these people before, they all were super nice and I felt super comfortable. They opened their presents and then we did a bit of karaoke. I have to say that even people with a pretty voice sounded bad...so me who already don't have a beautiful voice usually, the karaoke didn't help me at all! I sounded horrible! But I had a lot of fun, singing with Tereza, dancing...

Then we watched a movie, “the purge”, but I didn't really watch it, too busy playing Trivia Track. It is a new game I discovered on my Iphone, and everybody here is playing it! It is addictive!

We went to bed around 3am, talking with Tereza and watching Vampire Diaries.

Thursday December 25^th

Christmas morning here we are! When we woke up, we directly went to the living room to see our stockings...However Santa had a little problem of communication with his elves and the stocking were empty! A little disappointed, we waited for the parents to come back from the cabin to have breakfast all together...Pancakes with syrup and sausages (with ketchup for me and also syrup for them). We finally opened our first presents! We started with the ones from the siblings. I gave Mason: a Notre Dame sign and a football team hoodie, Gavin: a historical video game and a iPhone case, Delaney: fuzzy pj pants, fuzzy socks, and 2 harry potter jewelry.

I also gave Teri mom: a JoAnn gift card and a candle, and Terry dad: a hat and bier holder saying “best dad ever”.

I receive: from Gavin: a charger and a 10 feet long cable, from Mason: an american hat, american wallet, american basketball socks, and from Delaney: fuzzy pj pants and an Indiana silver necklace (with a heart where Butler is)

Then we packed and left to the cabin.

When we arrived I discovered my stocking...My first stocking ever! It was as in movies, on the fireplace, it was huge and so full that the things inside were falling!

Mine was the fullest!

I looked inside, and Santa gave me: an amazing nail polish remover, nail polish, american duck tape, tissues, candy, pencils, modeling dough...

Then we discovered the christmas tree and the gifts...when I say gifts, I mean at least 30 gifts! Something like 10 for each of us! That's the most generous Santa I'd ever seen! We started opening them...At the very end (after my siblings gifts and my stocking), I got: 1 under armour pants, 1 spandex, 1 california shirt, paper for craft books, a big bag, a USB key, a tumbler, a fuzzy pant...

I LOVED ALL MY GIFTS! Thanks again Santa!

We then played the irishopoly (monopoly form Notre Dame), but after 2 hours, it started to be really annoying so we stopped. We watched a christmas movie, Eloise, and I worked on tessje and Tereza's gifts.

Then we had the christmas dinner. Teri mom cooked an amazing salmon and Terry dad a chicken.

Steve, the neighbor was there too. I ate so much! I finished the dinner, laying on the floor with Delaney's, our stomachs so full that it felt as they were going to explode!

Wednesday December 24^th

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!! however, I've never felt less like christmas, because there is no snow at all! When we woke up, Teri mom, Mason, Gavin and I went to Angola to cut our hair. Mine is still pretty long but now I have layers. At home, we finished preparing for Christmas (we are hosting). We baked some amazing stuffs, my favorite was a round pretzel, in the middle we put a chocolate with caramel, and when it melted, we put an MNM's in the middle..Delicious!

I worked a bit more on my tshirts, and then I dressed up. I wore my new dress, black and white, very elegant, with a big low cut...

People finally arrived around 5.45 pm. I expected 200 people (they usually are so many during the family meetings), but we were more around 30. I played with the kids downstairs, I talked a bit with uncles and aunts, and we took pictures with our new photo booth. There was a lot of food, and I ate so much that my stomach hurt for the next hour! Then Santa arrived! All dressed, with a huge bag full of presents. He called every kid, they sat on his lap, and he gave them present...I got one too!

I got a fuzzy pyjama pants...so soft and super long for my long legs! We played a game called white elephant, where everybody brings a gift, then we got a number. Number 1 can pick a present. Then number 2 can either steal the present of number 1 or take another one...One of the uncle gave me his number, I picked a gift and I got some beer cups! I also played piano before everybody left.

When everybody went to bed, we watched the movie Elf with Delaney, and we danced, alone, in the living room.

Sunday December 22^nd

This morning, Mason taught me how to play chess. Then after lunch, we went to the cabin, to decorate it for Christmas. The “lake” was all frozen! I tried to put my foot on it to walk but the ice wasn't thick enough, so my foot was all wet!

Then we went Christmas shopping. I bought Teri mom's last christmas present, myself underwear and christmas gift for my friends.

Then we had dinner at Jersey's, a sport bar. It means that there are around 50 TVs everywhere in the restaurant and people watch sport while they are eating. It was really good, even if I wasn't able to finish...my stomach was close to explode!
