Sunday February 1^st

I slept better and longer, I feel better. I ate a bit for breakfast and for lunch. I started a new book called “The crown and the ring”, and I really liked it! I read the entire book (400 pages) before the end of the day! It was the first time I really read long books in english.

Around 4, we left to Donna where we were going to watch the SuperBowl. It is “the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional football in the United States”. Kind of our FIFA for soccer. The 2 teams in final were the Seahawks from Seattle and the Patriots from New England. I was for the Seahawks. At Donna's, there wasn't too many people, there were us, aunt Donna and her husband, uncle Mike and Steve and the cousins. They just started hosting an exchange student from Hungary, Orsi, a girl I met at the beginning of the year. The game was really close, but unfortunately the Seahawks made a horrible pass 20 seconds before the end what killed their only chance to win the game.

At half time, there is a famous show, with a different famous person singing each year. Last year it was Beyonce, this year Katie Perry. She arrived on top of a giant iron lion, then she flew through the stadium with fireworks behind her...big american show! It was pretty amazing!

One of the best part of the superbowl is the commercials. They show exclusive new commercials and it was the funniest ones I'd ever seen! Some of my favorite:
