Friday January 16th
We couldn't sleep at all this night with Tess because Quynh's host mom snored really bad all night! It was just sooo loud! As we really wanted to sleep, we tried by all ways to wake her up: we switched on the light, hit the wall, slammed the door...she didn't wake up and kept snoring. We slept like 4 hours the whole night...
We woke up at 7 in the morning, had breakfast at this giant buffet, and then we packed and left for our excursion! We had to wait 30 minutes for people who forgot their ID in their room, and then went out of the boat. We discovered Key West, a very nice port, and went to the Catamaran.
View of Key West from the boat
It was a big and very nice boat, and we were around 25 people on it.
What our catamaran looked like (i forgot to take a picture but I found the perfect one online ...)
It was very windy, so on the boat, with our little shorts and tops, we were almost cold! We sat on top of the boat...until a giant wave hit us right in the face! All wet, with the wind, we were forced to go sit “inside”! After the security explanations and the rules we had to follow in the ocean, we got our masks and snorkels. We also paid an extra 10 dollars for a wetsuit and then let's go! I snorkeled with Tessje and Ingrid, and it was just amazing! There were corals everywhere, hundreds of fished, all colors, some turquoise, some red and black, the algae were gorgeous...We swam for around 2hours I think, but I could spend the rest of the day there! Then we went back to port, where we walked a bit around before going back to the boat. I even found a shop called “Little Switzerland”! My country, even small, has a shop with his name in a small port in the Caribbean!
Representing Switzerland!
On the boat, we had a shower (the salt of the sea, the humidity, the water...not very comfortable!) and then we finished visiting the boat (it took 2 entire days to see this giant thing!). Some people told us that there was a basketball and a volleyball court, but after searching everywhere we concluded that there wasn't!
We then played mini gold on deck 12 (because of course there is a mini golf on a boat..). It was really windy, so hard to play, but fun! Tessje won, I was second. After that, we went to our cabin, and we got ready for the fancy night. (there is one night on every cruise, where everyone has to dress up). People were even wearing prom dresses!

We ate in the same restaurant as the day before, the food was still amazing! I tried for the first time shrimps and lobster (all free of course)...It wasn't bad! It has a weird texture and didn't really taste anything actually...
Lobster (bad light sorry)
I was really, really tired this night! I almost fell asleep on my plate! So after dinner, we didn't stay out long, we went to our cabin, and we all talked about our high school and how it worked for us. Right after we went to bed.
A girl room: not very organized..
